Experience the effects of impaired and distracted driving.

MAS has teamed up with Jeep® to create the Drive Smart™ Program, a virtual reality training simulator that puts you in the driver’s seat to experience the effects of impaired and distracted driving.

The safety of our military personnel and the communities where you live and serve are important to all of us. The dangers and consequences of impaired and distracted driving are real. One bad decision could cost you your career, your life or someone else’s life.

Some important facts to keep in mind:

  • It doesn’t take as much alcohol as you think to compromise your ability to drive safely.
  • Impaired driving kills someone every 50 minutes1.
  • Distracted driving kills nine people each day2.
  • Sending or reading a text takes your eyes off the road for 5 seconds. That’s like driving the length of a football field with your eyes closed.

This program helps raise awareness so we can all make the right decision to Drive Smart™!

In addition to being important, it’s also a lot of fun.
