The Ride the Alps event returned with a roar this August, bringing together more than 300 riders from across Europe to Garmisch, Germany. From 23-25 August 2024, military motorcycle enthusiasts took to the Bavarian roads for a weekend packed with adrenaline, adventure, and unbeatable camaraderie.
The weather was perfect, the bikes were tuned, and the riders were ready to conquer the Alps like never before.
Riders, Roads, and Rumbles
With more than 300 bikers revving their engines, this year’s event was nothing short of electric. Riders traversed the Bavarian Alps, cutting through breathtaking scenery, from soaring mountain peaks to lush green valleys. Whether it was the tight turns or the open stretches that allowed for a little extra throttle, every twist and turn made hearts race and Harley engines roar.

Bikers, Bavaria, and Brews
While the alpine roads were undoubtedly the main event, the weekend was packed with plenty of off-bike excitement. Riders gathered at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort to swap stories, share tips, and enjoy the best that Bavarian hospitality has to offer. From hearty Bavarian dinners to ice-cold beers, every rider was well looked after throughout the weekend.
This year’s Poker Run was a fan-favorite once again, where riders not only tested their skills but also their luck, with plenty of prizes on the line. There was no shortage of friendly competition, making this year’s rally as much about connection as it was about speed.
Riding Ahead: Planning for 2025
As we look back on the unforgettable Ride the Alps 2024, we can’t help but get pumped for what’s in store for next year. The countdown to Ride the Alps 2025 has already begun, and if this year is anything to go by, it’s bound to be even better!
