For almost 20 years, military personnel from across Europe have gathered at the annual Ride the Alps Event for an epic weekend of riding, adventure, camaraderie, and breathtaking views.
Over a hundred military members gathered for this year’s Annual Military Motorcycle Rally at the Edelweiss lodge and resort from 22-24 August in beautiful Garmisch, Germany.

An Epic Weekend Journey
This three-day event, sponsored by MAS, brought everyone from seasoned riders to newcomers together to share their passion for motorcycles and the military lifestyle. The weekend included a poker run, entertainment, awards, and giveaways.

Rev Up Your Engines
This epic ride cuts through the Bavarian Alps, weaving between alpine lakes and centuries-old villages.
Every mile is pure exhilaration and it’s the kind of ride that stays with you long after the weekend is over.

The weekend was more than just a motorcycle ride. Participants enjoyed plenty of fun and camaraderie along the way.
They also shared great food, laughter and friendly competition through a variety of games and activities. Trophies were awarded for best poker hand, worst poker hand, best bike, and furthest distance traveled.

Ride the Alps Weekend Package Giveaway
Earlier this year, Military AutoSource kicked off riding season with our annual Ride the Alps Giveaway. The prize included a weekend getaway package for two, highlighting just one of the many ways MAS gives back to the military community we serve.

Grand Prize Winner
This year’s winner was elected from our Ramstein Air Base location. The prize was awarded to Technical Sergeant Jacob Williams U.S. Air Force.
TSgt Williams was very excited to be selected as the winner and brought his wife and two children along for a weekend of fun and fresh air in the Bavarian Alps.

In Their Own Words
It’s always a highlight to cross paths and connect with our MAS family of riders and customers at an event like this.
During the rally, MAS Regional Sales Manager Perry Williams, caught up with a few familiar faces who shared their MAS experience and what it meant to them. Here’s what three of them had to say.

MSgt Anthony Davis | U.S. Air Force
Stationed in Ramstein, Anthony purchased his 2025 Harley-Davidson® Low Rider S through MAS and described the experience as a “super seamless process.”
This was his second time joining Ride the Alps, an event he first learned about from his MAS representative, Callum Danaher, in Ramstein.
SFC Anthony Voshell | U.S. Army
Tony’s relationship with MAS began with his first deployment and now his military career has spanned two decades. He’s been a wonderfully loyal customer and has purchased a Harley Heritage Softail® Classic, a Jeep Wrangler, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
For Tony, riding is about more than the open road. And as he nears retirement, Tony plans to end this chapter just as he began it, with another Harley-Davidson® to continue his journeys.

Stephen Chadwick | U.S. Army
A lifelong rider, Stephen first joined the MAS family in Wiesbaden when he purchased his 2015 Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® Low from Ron Epps. Not long after, he upgraded to a 2016 Ultra Limited, his trusted ride to this day. He gave a shout-out to his MAS sales representative, Ron Epps, sharing that he could not have asked for better service and appreciates how Ron supported the Harley community in Wiesbaden.
Now attending his second Ride the Alps event, Stephen continues to share his passion for the open road and the camaraderie it creates among service members. For Stephen, riding overseas is more than a pastime, it’s an outlet, a brotherhood, and a way to mentor the next generation of military riders.
